Jewelry store owner shot during robbery in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – An employee at A&M jewelry in Brooklyn was shot by a man who entered the store in an attempt to commit a robbery.

On Sunday, at around 1:55, an unidentified male suspect entered the business and discharged his gun in the direction of the 24-year-old employee, grazing his torso.

Police arrived on scene at 4814 5th Avenue in Brooklyn to find the wounded employee, but the suspect had fled. The victim was transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, in stable condition, where he was listed in stable condition.


No arrests have been made at this time.
