Juvenile, woman shot and killed in Swissvale

SWISSVALE, PA – Police in Swissvale discovered a woman and a child were shot in killed Wednesday morning and notified the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit

A medic was requested to enter a barricaded apartment in the 7800 block of Sailor Place at approximately 10:13 am on February 15, 2023 by Swissvale Police. An adult female victim and a female child were found dead from gunshot wounds by first responders.

Police are investigating the double homicide, but have not yet identified any suspects or made any arrests.
