Female Teen Injured in D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A shooting on Sunday afternoon in Southeast, D.C. left a teenage girl injured. The incident took place at the 4600 Block of Benning Road.

Shortly after 3:30, officers from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department arrived at the location to investigate a report of a shooting. At the location, police found the shooting victim. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and was conscious and breathing. There is no update on her condition at this time, and no arrests have been made.
