Subway surfer, 15, killed in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – A 15-year-old subway surfer was struck and killed early Monday evening while riding the J train over the Williamsburg Bridge into Brooklyn.

Around 6:45pm, the incident occurred as the train entered Brooklyn after crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives with the NYPD’s 90th Precinct are investigating. No details have been released.


The victim was not identified by police.
