Paterson police investigating another shooting on East 24th Street

PATERSON, NJ – Days after an 18-year-old male was shot on East 24th Street, the Paterson Police Department is investigating another shooting on the same street.

Police reported this morning that another shooting was reported overnight in the area of 9th Avenue and 24th Street. Police did not release any information regarding possible victims.

The shooting was reported shortly after 1 am on Thursday.


On Saturday, an 18-year-old was shot at around the same time near the intersection of East 24th Street and 15th Avenue.

Anyone with information regarding these shootings is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.
