Police seeking to identify suspects in Northwest Philadelphia grocery store armed robbery

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department continue investigating an armed robbery at a Northwest Philadelphia deli on February 6th.

Police have released video surveillance footage of the suspects who entered the Wyndale Grocery Store and robbed the employees and customers at gunpoint.

According to police, at around 4 pm on February 6th, our armed men pull up in a black Honda Accord and enter the store located at 5648 Wyndale Avenue.


“While three of the men hold several customers and employees at gunpoint, the fourth male goes behind the deli counter, assaults an employee and steals several thousand dollars in cash,” detectives reported. “The offenders quickly leave the scene, fleeing along the 5600 block of Wyndale Avenue. A witness stated all four men spoke Spanish.”
