18-year-old reported missing in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – Police in the Bronx have issued a missing person alert for 18-year-old Leolah Iyahen. Leolah was last seen leaving her home on the 400 block of Brook Avenue in the Betances Houses NYCHA project.

Detectives with the 40th Precinct said family members reported that Leolah Iyahen was last seen on Tuesday, February 28, at approximately 3:15 pm in front of her residence.

She is described as being 5’1″ tall, weighing 180 pounds, with a heavy build, light complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue sweater, lime green shirt, brown boots and carrying a black and white book bag.
