The photo by Murdoch shows the whale floating just beyond the breakers in Seaside Park.

The report comes just a day after the U.S. Coast Guard reported a deceased whale in the Ambrose Channel, a shipping lane between New York and New Jersey. It is unconfirmed that the whale is the same one spotted yesterday, some thirty miles north.
