BURTONSVILLE, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police released video surveillance footage of multiple individuals wanted for a February 21st armed carjacking in Burtonsville.

Police reported the carjacking at around 5:30 am in the 4300 block of Dunwood Terrace.

“The investigation by detectives had determined that an adult male victim was removing an item from his white 2021 Nissan Rogue when the three suspects arrived in a blue four-door sedan. Two of the suspects exited the sedan and approached the victim,” The Howard County Police Department said in a statement today. “One of the suspects implied that he had a handgun and demanded the key to the Nissan. The victim complied and handed over the key to the Nissan. One of the suspects left the scene in the Nissan, and the other two left the scene in the sedan.”

Officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department later spotted the vehicle and initiated a pursuit.

The driver lost control of the stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the 9700 block of Good Luck Road in Lanham.

Police said the driver lost control, struck an unoccupied vehicle, and left the scene. The Nissan was then recovered and towed to a police facility in Montgomery County for investigative purposes.

Police are asking the public to help identify the suspects wanted for this incident.

Anyone with information regarding these three suspects or this crime is asked to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).  A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. Callers can remain anonymous.
