MORRISTOWN, NJ – Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and President Donald Trump have had issues throughout their tumultuous on-and-off bromance dating back to 2015. Now, with Christie polling below 0% for President in 2024, he’s doing what he does best. He’s attacking former President Donald Trump in another attempt to make himself politically relevant.
This time, Christie, the former Trump campaign advisor and failed Presidential candidate, is mocking the size of Trump’s crowd size.

And he knows it’s a sore spot with the former President.
Trump is leading the polls for President in 2024 and Christie is not happy about it. With Trump as President, Christie can kiss any shot of a cabinet position goodbye as he has become a professional Trump detractor since joining the liberal news network ABC as a political consultant.
“You saw the scenes at CPAC, that room was half-full,” Christie said this week. “This Week.” “The reason I don’t think the rallies are going on … I don’t think the rallies would be nearly as big as they were before.”
Christie knows Trump judges his own success based on crowd sizes. Crowd sizes at rallies, crowd sizes at inaugurations and even crowd sizes at political uprisings at the U.S. Capitol.
Still, Trump is smoking Christie, a once popular New Jersey Governor who quickly fell from grace, ending his second term as one of the most unpopular governors in the history of New Jersey. He even polls lower than current progressive Democrat Governor Phil Murphy.
Christie says Trump isn’t the guy he used to be.
“There are lots of indicators here, that he’s not what he used to be, in most respects, you’re talking about and so we’re going to see how that plays out,” he added.
Trump disputed his former underling’s claims of an empty room at CPAC.
“CPAC was packed for my speech, you couldn’t get into the building. A special thanks to the area Fire Department for making it work so well. Great job!” Trump said.
Trump, knowing Christie has been eliminated from the 2024 Presidential race has not mentioned his former protegé.
