Man brutally beaten, robbed waiting for McDonald’s drive-thru order in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – A 65-year-old man was attacked by an unknown suspect while waiting for his order at the McDonald’s restaurant located at 7202 Flatlands Avenue in Canarsie.

Police said on Thursday, at around 1:38 am, the 65-year-old customer was sitting inside his vehicle waiting for his drive-thru order when he was approached by an unknown individual and assaulted.

Detectives with the New York City Police Department’s 69 Precinct reported that an unknown individual exited a black Infinity Q50 waiting in line behind his vehicle while waiting to receive his food.


“The individual approached the victim’s vehicle on foot and engaged him in a verbal dispute,” the NYPD said today. “The individual then reached into the victim’s vehicle and punched him multiple times in the face. The individual abandoned the vehicle and fled in an unknown direction on foot.”

EMS treated the man on scene before being taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center for treatment. He was treated for a broken nose and two broken eye sockets. He was listed in stable condition.

Police described the suspect as a male with a dark complexion and black colored hair. The individual was last seen wearing an orange sweatshirt, black jacket and orange/black sneakers.
