Police searching for suspects who beat 7-eleven clerk during robbery in Midtown

NEW YORK, NY – Police are still seeking to identify suspects wanted in an assault and robbery at a Midtown Manhattan 7-Eleven. Six suspects entered the store at 800 Avenue of the Americas and began stealing merchandise.

When confronted by a store clerk, the man began beating the worker. He sustained minor injuries during the attack. The six attackers fled the scene on mopeds heading northbound on Avenue of the Americas.

“On Monday, February 6, 2023, at approximately 2110 hours, six unknown males entered 800 Avenue of the Americas (7-Eleven) and removed merchandise from the location,” the NYPD said. “When the victim, a 29-year-old employee, attempted to prevent the individuals from leaving with the items, a physical altercation occurred. The victim was kicked in the body and struck in the head with a caution sign. The individuals fled the location in mopeds, going northbound on Avenue of the Americas.”
