Philadelphia Man Charged with Murder in Fatal Shooting in Gloucester Township

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Kacy Banks, a 26-year-old man from Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with first-degree felony murder, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and second-degree robbery for the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Tarik Green of Millville on February 22, 2023.

Green was pronounced dead at Jefferson Hospital in Stratford. Following an in-depth investigation, Banks was arrested on Wednesday, in Philadelphia, by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Banks is currently in custody in the Philadelphia Jail, pending extradition to New Jersey. Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay praised the efforts of detectives and officers working on this investigation since it began.
