Montgomery County Detectives Investigate Homicide on Treetop Lane

SILVER SPRING, MD – Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division is investigating the homicide of 18-year-old Jalahni Antonio Harrington of Gaithersburg, which occurred on Sunday, at an apartment building on Treetop Lane in Silver Spring. The police received a report of a shooting at approximately 7:20 p.m. and found Harrington with an apparent gunshot wound in the stairwell of the building. Officers tried to save the victim until Montgomery County Fire Rescue arrived, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been arrested yet. Anyone with information regarding this homicide is asked to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-455-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000.
