14-year-old girl reported missing in Staten Island

NEW YORK, NY – A 14-year-old girl has been reported missing in Staten Island and police with the 121st Precinct are asking the public for assistance in locating her.

Zaida Cortez, 15, was last seen by her family leaving her Maple Avenue home on Monday morning. She was last seen at Port Richmond High School at around 9:30 am.

She is described as 5’3″ tall, 140 pounds, with a light complexion, medium build, long black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, gray jeans, and black and white Vans sneakers.

Anyone with information in regard to the whereabouts of this individual is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
