Two Juveniles Arrested for Carjacking

GERMANTOWN, MD – On Saturday, Montgomery County Police responded to a strong-arm carjacking at a Sunoco gas station in Germantown. The victim was forced out of his car by two juveniles who then attempted to drive away. However, the juveniles were unable to operate the vehicle due to it being a manual transmission, and fled on foot. Officers quickly apprehended the juveniles after a brief foot chase in the area.

Following an investigation, both juveniles were arrested and charged as adults with one count of carjacking and one count of conspiracy carjacking.

They are currently being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing unit. This incident highlights the dangers of carjacking and the importance of being aware of your surroundings and taking precautions to stay safe.
