New multi-million dollar Adventure Crossing dome burst during passing storm

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – A passing storm that caused massive damage in Jackson Township also ripped apart the Adventure Crossing golf dome Saturday night.

The storm, which downed trees and telephone lines across town, has left nearly 10,000 homes without power.

The details regarding precisely what happened are not known at this time as the damage is currently being assessed. The facility opened to the public just a few weeks ago and included an arcade, virtual reality rides, and an indoor golf driving range.

The 100,000-square-foot indoor entertainment center opened in January with 42 Top Golf bays, axe throwing, and a restaurant and bar. The dome is part of Adventure Crossing, an $800 million sports and entertainment complex.
