DORCHESTER, MA – A significant drug bust occurred on Friday, in Dorchester, resulting in the arrest of Esteve Diaz, 41, of Braintree, on drug-related charges. Officers from the District C-11 Drug Control Unit (Dorchester), along with the assistance of Braintree Police and the DEA Task Force, conducted an ongoing drug investigation and executed search warrants at 95 Skyline Drive.
During the operation, officers recovered 1,002 grams of cocaine, 1 pound of marijuana, and $1,480 in US currency. The sizable seizure of narcotics highlights the continued efforts of law enforcement to combat drug trafficking in the area.
Diaz now faces charges of trafficking Class B and possession with intent to distribute Class D. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court, where the case will unfold in the coming weeks.
