Shooting in Paterson Leaves One Injured

PATERSON, NJ – Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported a shooting at East 28th Street and 8th Avenue in Paterson, on Sunday.

A 21-year-old male Paterson resident sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound. Members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the scene and found a potential crime scene. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, with more information to be released once available.
