Community Tips Lead to Arrest of Theft Suspect in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – Thanks to tips from the community, Property Crimes Bureau detectives were able to identify one of the suspects involved in the theft of an air conditioning unit from a Karl Court business. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Eric Hicks, 34, who has been charged with felony theft and breaking and entering. Hicks has also been connected to several other theft cases under investigation by the Columbus Police Department.
