NYPD releases photo of suspect wanted for groping teen outside her home

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is actively seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual connected to a recent forcible touching incident within the 67 Precinct.

According to the police report, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at approximately 9:50 PM, a 19-year-old female victim was walking to her residence near East 95 Street and Willmohr Street when an unknown male individual followed her and inappropriately grabbed her buttocks over her clothing without consent. The suspect then fled on foot toward Church Avenue. The victim did not sustain any injuries during this incident.

The suspect was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket and a black face mask. The NYPD urges anyone with information about this incident to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
