NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department has announced the arrests of three city workers in unrelated matters.

On Thursday, an off-duty NYPD school safety officer was charged with leaving the scene of an incident without reporting. 52-year-old Geraldo Perez was charged by officers from the 108th Precinct.

At around 9:00 am, a New York City Police Department sergeant was arrested and charged with official misconduct, assault, and harassment. 42-year-old Jamar Lamey was arrested by officers from the 44th Precinct.

On Wednesday, police arrested New York City Department of Education teacher Patrick Longsworth, 51, for three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Longsworth was booked by officers from the 72nd Precinct.

The NYPD did not provide detailed information regarding any three of the reported arrests.
