Food delivery driver attacked and robbed in broad daylight in NYC

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three individuals involved in an attempted robbery within the 10 Precinct. On Thursday, March 23, 2023, at approximately 12:55 PM, a 29-year-old male victim was making a food delivery inside 413 West 16 Street when the suspects approached him and punched him multiple times in the face. The individuals then attempted to forcibly take the food but were unsuccessful.

They fled on foot, heading westbound on West 17 Street toward 10 Avenue. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene.

The suspects are described as males with light to medium complexions.
