Man shot and killed inside West Baltimore business

Baltimore, MD – Early Saturday morning, gunfire once again erupted in the Western District of Baltimore when a man was fatally shot inside a local business. The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of Presstman Street, and local police officers responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the shooting.

When the officers arrived, they discovered a 29-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.

The Baltimore Police Department’s Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, and detectives are actively pursuing leads in an effort to identify the gunman. The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of his family.


At this time, the motive for the shooting remains unclear, and police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
