Lancaster fugitive arrested for assault against minor

LANCASTER, PA – David Ray Lopez, a 33-year-old man from Lancaster, has been arrested on Friday and charged with multiple counts of sexual offenses involving a minor. He has been arraigned and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.

The victim, a minor, disclosed that Lopez had sexual intercourse with them on numerous occasions between May and August 2022, when the victim’s parents were at work.

The incidents occurred in the early morning hours when both of the victim’s parents were working. The officer interviewed three adults that reside at the address where the incidents took place.


An arrest warrant was issued on March 29, 2023, and Lopez was arrested on April 7, 2023. The charges against Lopez include statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, and indecent assault. Sergeant Barry E. Waltz, Jr. can be contacted for further information.
