Teen Charged as Adult in Stabbing of Juvenile in Williamsport

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Yesterday, a 13-year-old male was found with multiple stab wounds in the area of Newberry Park.

The investigation led to the arrest of 15-year-old Caidyn Earnest, who allegedly engaged in an altercation with the victim before stabbing him multiple times with a knife.

Due to the severity of the charges, Earnest has been charged as an adult and is currently being held at the Lycoming County Prison on a $75,000 bail.

The young victim was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. His condition has not been released, but he is expected to recover from his injuries.

The motive behind the altercation remains unclear, and authorities continue investigating the incident.
