25-year-old shot and killed in Staten Island

On Thursday, NYPD officers responded to 102 Wright Street in Staten Island in response to a 911 call reporting a male shot outside the residence. Officers from the NYPD’s120 Precinct arrived on the scene at approximately 10:45 pm.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 25-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was found unconscious and unresponsive and was rushed to Richmond University Medical Center by EMS. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the young man was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.


At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist with the case.

The identity of the deceased has not been released pending proper family notification.
