Boston Police Investigate Shots Fired in Dorchester, Recover Multiple Firearms

DORCHESTER, MA – On Friday, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 64 Mascot Street in Dorchester.

Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area but found no victims or suspects. After further investigation, they located ballistic evidence and recovered six firearms with ammunition.

Boston Police Department’s district detectives are now investigating the incident. They are urging community members with information about the firearms to contact B-3 Detectives at 617-343-4712 or assist anonymously through the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1 (800) 494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
