Fourth suspect arrested in Easter Sunday murder in Trenton

TRENTON, NJ – Police in Trenton have arrested a Ewing man, the fourth suspect involved in an Easter Sunday murder.

Bayshawn Brown, a 22-year-old man from Ewing, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a shooting on April 9th that resulted in the death of Jhosse Tolentino, a 23-year-old from Trenton.

Along with Brown, Joseph Fayson, Justin Malkin, and Darrin Eutsey have all been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and third-degree theft by receiving stolen property.


The prosecutor’s office has filed motions to detain all of the defendants.

When the shooting took place, Trenton police were alerted by a ShotSpotter notification reporting multiple shots fired in the area of Lamberton and Federal streets.

Upon arrival, officers found Tolentino, who had been shot multiple times while sitting in his parked 2010 Infiniti G37. He was later pronounced dead at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
