Mysterious Death of Bronx Woman Deemed Homicide, Investigation Ongoing

BRONX, NY – On Thursday, the death of Jessica Miller, a 40-year-old woman found unconscious at 1500 Waters Place, has been classified as a homicide by the New York City Police Department.

On Saturday, August 6, 2022, at approximately 6 pm, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious female inside the address. Upon arrival, officers observed Miller unconscious and unresponsive, with no obvious signs of trauma.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the location and pronounced Miller deceased at the scene. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been made in connection with this case.
