MTA Employee Assaulted at Queens Subway Station, Suspect on the Loose

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a female suspect who assaulted a 36-year-old male MTA employee at the 75th Avenue subway station on Tuesday.

The suspect engaged the on-duty employee in a verbal dispute before throwing an unknown substance in the victim’s face, causing burning and irritation.

The suspect fled the scene on foot and was last seen at the 71st Avenue Forest Hills Subway Station. The victim suffered minor injuries and was removed to Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital for treatment.


The individual is described as a female with a medium complexion, 5’6” tall, and approximately 175 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and blue and white sneakers, carrying a pink bag. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
