New York City cop arrested and charged for DWI

NEW YORK, NY – A New York City police officer has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusing to take a breathalyzer test.

The incident unfolded Saturday morning in Queens. Officers with the 112th Precinct initiated a traffic stop on 29-year-old officer Jacob Peterson. Peterson was stopped at around 4:00 am.

He was also charged with driving while his ability impaired by alcohol. He was off-duty at the time of the arrest.
