WIND GAP, PA – An elderly man was arrested in Wind Gapo this week after he pointed a gun at a female neighbor.

On Tuesday, Slate Belt Regional Police arrested Robert Overpeck Sr. after a female neighbor reported that Overpeck had pointed a gun at her on April 13. Overpeck faces charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person.

The police responded shortly after receiving the 911 call and obtained a search warrant for Overpeck’s residence, where they found a revolver and a rifle. Overpeck was taken into custody and transported to the Northampton County Central Booking Center. He was later arraigned before a Magisterial District Judge and lodged in Northampton County Prison.
