Hit and Run at Cobbs Creek Parkway Leaves Woman in Critical Condition, $5,000 Reward Offered

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A hit-and-run incident occurred yesterday, at 10:46 A.M., leaving a 58-year-old woman critically injured at 70th and Cobbs Creek Parkway. The victim was facing westbound in the middle lane of Cobbs Creek Parkway when a white Ford Mustang struck her and fled the scene.

The vehicle, which has a gray or black convertible top and a partial PA Tag # JFE, has since been located, but no arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is active and ongoing with the Crash Investigation Division. Anyone with information on the vehicle or incident is asked to contact the Crash Investigation Division at 215-685-3180, call 911, or 215-686-TIPS (8477). A $5,000 reward is being offered by the Managing Director’s Office for information that leads to an arrest or conviction.
