Police investigating suspicious shooting at Cleveland deli

CLEVELAND, OH – A shooting inside a deli located at Eeast 148th and Harvard on Wednesday, left a 25-year-old man injured with a gunshot wound to his upper thigh. Witnesses at the scene reported that the injury was self-inflicted.

Someone reportedly took the gun from the scene before the Cleveland Police Department arrived.

The injured man was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing, and police are looking to interview additional witnesses and review any available surveillance footage to piece together the events that led to the shooting. The Cleveland Police Department is requesting that anyone with information about the incident come forward to aid in their investigation.
