14-year-old girl victim of groping on MTA bus in Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Police in Staten Island are asking the public to help identify a suspect wanted in an alleged groping incident earlier this week.

The incident, which took place on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at approximately 3:15 pm, involved a 14-year-old female victim who was standing on an S46 bus at Castleton Avenue and Broadway.

The unknown individual touched her thigh several times without consent and even placed his hand on her buttocks. The suspect then fled near Victory Boulevard and Bay Street, but his image has been captured on camera.


The victim was not injured during the incident but refused medical attention. The NYPD is urging anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information related to the case to come forward.
