GOP leaders promise to pay attention to Jackson in the future

JACKSON, NJ – For decades, Jackson Township has been the red-headed stepchild of Ocean County. The county-maintained roads and services get little attention outside of election cycles. Most of the county leaders don’t know the difference between Bennetts Mills and Jackson Mills.

That could soon change after Jackson has become the political powerhouse of Northern Ocean County in the past year.

Around 90 Republicans attended a Jackson GOP meeting held last night, and the organizers of the event expressed their gratitude for the attendees’ contributions in strengthening the organization.

Ocean County GOP Chairman Gilmore, Commissioner Kelly, and Frank Sadeghi were thanked for their invitation and shared words of encouragement with the group. The Republican club expressed their eagerness to work together with the officials’ teams for the benefit of all.

During the meeting, Chairman Gilmore made a commitment to organize monthly meetings with a team from Jackson to stay proactive in dealing with the town’s infrastructure.

The Republican club is anticipating positive results from these meetings, according to club President Mordechai Burnstein.

The county officials who attended the meeting spoke of the unity set forth by the Republican club President Mordechai Burnstein. Burnstein emphasized that this unity is not the work of one individual but rather the work of an organization that puts aside differences to achieve its goals.

The club is looking forward to its next meeting and is currently finalizing the next round of Republican guests. They expressed confidence that attendees will not be disappointed.

In Toms River, the Ocean County GOP has endorsed Mo Hill for mayor, the next major battleground in the county in June.

The meeting was described as a great success, with good food and a positive atmosphere.
