Suspect sought for taking pictures up woman’s skirt on subway escalator

NEW YORK – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with an unlawful surveillance incident that occurred at the Lexington Avenue subway station on April 20.

According to the police report, a 24-year-old woman was riding up an escalator when an unknown man approached her and took a photo underneath her dress. The suspect fled the scene on foot.

The victim was not injured during the incident.


The police have released a photo of the suspect taken from inside the subway station after the incident. He is described as a 25-year-old male with a medium complexion, approximately 6 feet tall, and weighing around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt with the word “King” on the front, camouflage sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.
