30-Year-Old Dead In D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 30-year-old man was shot to death last night in Northeast D.C. The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting, which happened at the 3800 Block of Jay Street.

At about 11:48, police arrived at the scene to investigate a shooting report. Officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

30-year-old Tyrone Hopkins of D.C. was identified as the victim. Police have not yet made an arrest at this time.
