LINDEN, NJ – Linden detectives are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on the afternoon of May 4, 2023. According to reports, at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers responded to the 10 block of N. Wood Ave in response to reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a 26-year-old Linden resident who had sustained a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was treated on scene by authorities and was later transported to Newark University Hospital by Linden Fire Department personnel.
