Four shot, including teen in Chicago on Wednesday

CHICAGO, IL – On Wednesday, officers responded to loud reports in the 6300 block of S. Calumet and discovered four gunshot wound victims. The victims, ranging in age from 16 to 42, were in the area when an unknown shooter opened fire. The motive for the shooting is still unknown, and investigators are working to piece together the events that led to the incident.

All four victims were transported to the University of Chicago Hospital in various conditions. The 16-year-old male victim was struck in the chest and is reported to be in critical condition. The 22-year-old male victim suffered a graze wound to the leg and is in good condition.

The 39-year-old male victim was struck in the thigh and is in good condition, while the 42-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and is also in stable condition.
