Brooklyn, NY – The New York City Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to the death of Danielle Parker, a 29-year-old female who was shot in front of 715 Dumont Avenue on Sunday, October 16, 2022.

Parker was transported to Brookdale Hospital, where she remained until her passing on Saturday, October 22, 2022.

Following an ongoing investigation, Trevlon Marshall, a 28-year-old male from Brooklyn, was arrested and charged on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 2015 hours, within the confines of the 75 Precinct. The charges against Marshall include murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon – loaded firearm.

At the time of the shooting, police had responded to a 911 call and found Parker with a gunshot wound to her neck.

Despite efforts to save her, she ultimately succumbed to her injuries six days later after being declared brain dead by doctors.

Police have said Marshall was a disgruntled tenant who Parker evicted. She was lured out of her home by angry former tenants while she was eating dinner with her family. When she left her apartment she was attacked by former tenants before Marshall shot her.
