Teen stabbed multiple times by attacker wearing skull hoodie, skeleton shirt in NYC park

Brooklyn, NY – A suspect wearing a skull mask and skeleton shirt stabbed an 18-year-old multiple times inside a park in Brooklyn on Wednesday at around 5 pm.

According to police, the 18-year-old male victim was involved in a dispute with an unknown individual when the suspect proceeded to stab him multiple times in the torso. The suspect then fled the scene heading northbound on Jay Street. The victim was taken to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

The NYPD has released an image of the suspect and is asking the public for help in identifying him. The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, approximately 16 to 17 years old, standing at approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall, and weighing approximately 140 pounds.


He was last seen wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.

The police are urging anyone with information in regard to this incident to come forward and call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The NYPD is reminding the public that all tips will be kept confidential and that there is a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are asking anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible.
