Rockville, MD – A lucky Rockville resident is now one step closer to owning her own home, thanks to a $50,000 prize she claimed on a Maryland Lottery scratch-off ticket on May 4th.
The 25-year-old winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket for the $10 Show Me $100,000 game at the 7-Eleven #34560A located at 121 Kentlands Boulevard in Gaithersburg.
The winner and her husband were overjoyed upon discovering that their ticket was a winner. The ecstatic husband even shed tears of joy. The couple plan to use their winnings as a down payment on a house.
The Show Me $100,000 game launched in May of 2022 and still has one unclaimed $100,000 top prize, one more $50,000 prize, one $10,000 prize, and thousands of additional prizes ranging from $20 to $1,000. Maryland Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets carefully and claim any prizes they may have won before they expire.
