Brick Police embark on 300 mile journey to D.C. to honor fallen officers

BRICK, NJ – Brick Township Police Officers have started their 300-mile bike ride to Washington, DC today as part of the annual Police Unity Tour. The tour is held to honor fallen officers and raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Monument.

The tour is expected to last several days and takes riders from various parts of the country to the monument in Washington DC. The Brick Township Police Officers are participating in this ride and will be representing their department and the community.

“We wish everyone riding and all support staff a safe journey,” the department said in a statement. The officers, along with other riders, will be traveling on bicycles and are expected to make stops along the way.


Among those participating in the tour are Ptl. Knehr, Ptl. Bylsma, Lt. Paul Catalina, Morgan Blann, Ptl. Haugh, Ptl. Bajor, Ptl. Daly and Ptl. Mark Catalina. The officers have expressed their excitement and honor to be a part of the tour, as they pay tribute to fallen officers and support the National Law Enforcement Monument.
