Suspect charged for pointing BB gun at man during argument

ANNAPOLIS, MD – A tense altercation occurred on Saturday, at around 11:00 a.m. on Riva Road in Annapolis. The incident began as a verbal dispute between the victim and the suspect, identified as Hung Minh Thai, 51 years old. The disagreement escalated when Thai brandished a BB gun and pointed it at the victim, causing the victim to fear for their safety.

The victim managed to disarm Thai and prevent any injuries. Authorities were alerted to the situation, and officers arrived on the scene promptly.

Thai was taken into custody without further incident and has been charged with assault and other related offenses.


The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the assault is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed depending on the outcome.
