Two Students Arrested Following Cafeteria Attack at Kingston High School

ULSTER COUNTY, NY – On Tuesday, Kingston Police arrested two students, aged 15 and 16, in connection with an attack that occurred in the cafeteria of Kingston High School on Wednesday, May 3.

Following processing, the two were handed over to the appropriate Ulster County juvenile court. Their names have not been released due to their age.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further information, including the charges against the two students, has been provided by the police.


Police did not report the severity of injuries in the attack.

Kingston Superintendent of Schools Paul J. Padalino commented on the incident, describing the act as “reprehensible and unacceptable,” and confirmed that the students involved would be held accountable.
