Evesham police respond after threat written on Beeler School wall

On Saturday, Evesham Police responded to an incident at the Beeler School located at 60 Caldwell Avenue.

A report had been made regarding a concerning message written in chalk on the school’s exterior wall, stating, “I’m going to shoot up the school.”

Investigating officers and detectives immediately notified the Evesham School District and initiated a collaborative investigation.

Multiple individuals of interest were identified, and their identities have not been released.

Based on the available information, detectives investigating the matter did not perceive a credible threat to the safety of the school’s students or staff.

As the investigation progressed, School Resource Officers were engaged to support the identification of the individuals involved, resulting in the development of various investigative leads.

Ultimately, all the individuals involved were successfully identified, and it was conclusively determined that the incident was a prank.

There was no credible threat to students or faculty at the school.
