Bergen County Prosecutors Arrest Union City Man for Drug Offenses

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – Mervin J. Menier, a 30-year-old Union City resident, was arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute cocaine on Friday, by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force.

The arrest followed a traffic stop during a narcotics investigation where it was discovered that Menier was transporting three kilograms of cocaine in a hidden compartment in his vehicle.

He was arrested at the scene and is currently being held at Bergen County Jail, pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.
