NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is soliciting the public’s help to identify two individuals involved in a grand larceny that took place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, around 4:00 am. The 27-year-old female victim was onboard a northbound 4 train when the two suspects removed her handbag while she was sleeping. They stole her cellphone, wallet, credit cards, personal ID, and other personal items before exiting the train at the East 170 Street station.
The first individual is described as a male in his 20s, with a dark complexion, slim build, and black hair, last seen wearing a multi-colored jacket with a black hood and black pants. The second individual is a female in her 20s, with a dark complexion, medium build, and black hair in braids with dyed ends. She was last seen wearing a black hooded winter jacket with a brown scarf, black sweatpants, and blue sneakers.
